“THE ICE ISN’T FAKE IN CEDAR LAKE!”

Also known as water ice, slush, Greek ice or sorbet, is a water-based, frozen dessert. All of our ice is made in-house, created from only real, natural ingredients, using our own uniquely crafted recipes! We only use real fruit, fruit juices & other natural ingredients to create our ice. We don’t just toss bits of fruit in syrup based ice & say “we use real fruit”, like the other places. It may cost us more, but we will never compromise our product for higher profit margins, that’s the Vito’s difference!
Our ice does not contain any dairy, dyes, soy, corn syrup, gluten or artificial ingredients…none, zip, zilch! We are clearly the better choice when it comes to frozen dessert!
Our liquid mixture is poured into a machine that consists of a freezing drum & spinning blades, which spins & freezes our product simultaneously. As the mixture freezes, the blades scrape the fine, freezing crystals from the drum walls. This creates a fine, slushy or even fluffy texture. The textures vary, depending on the flavor.
It’s not a snow cone! A snow cone is crushed ice with syrup poured over it…we just wanted to clear that up!
We offer cannolis in 2 different shell sizes, large (standard size) & mini. We use Supremo brand shells with our own homemade filling. Our rich, creamy filling is made from a blend of whipped ricotta cheese, powdered sugar & other ingredients, which vary depending on the flavor we are serving at the time. We will always serve the traditional classic flavor with the ends dipped in pistachio (yes, real pistachio…not dyed peanuts!) & chocolate flavored filling with the ends dipped in chocolate chips. We do occasionally offer other fillings for a limited time, such as our popular key lime filling with the ends dipped in crushed graham crackers & our favorite fall flavor, pumpkin spice filling with the ends dipped in mini marshmallows. Grab the limited flavors while you can, they don’t last long!

A popular European “waffle cookie”, just like what grandma makes for the family around the holiday season. The only difference, is that we make them all throughout our open season! We make the batter in-house, using our own recipe that does include a touch of anise for flavor. These tasty cookies have the perfect amount of crispness to them & are dusted with powdered sugar to give just the right amount of sweetness. They’re a great after dinner snack or go perfect with your morning coffee.

Back in 2020, we opened the door with only 7 flavors to choose from. We are now proud to say that we make over 40 delicious, all naturally made flavors & that number will continue to grow! We have anywhere from 20 to 24 flavors ready to serve on a daily basis, along with a featured flavor of the month! We rotate our flavors based on produce availability, which depends on the time of the season. If you have a favorite flavor, you might want to consider having a “back-up” choice, because your favorite may not be in stock when you come in…unless, it’s lemonade, we always have lemonade! You are able to choose 2 flavors in any of our sizes, that we pack in the cup side-by-side, creating endless combinations. We don’t put scoops in the cup, we pack it solid!
